| Recently re-settled in north Manchester from Beijing, I
am continuing my interests in landscape and documentary photography.
With various impacts in my understanding of life, gained from
these two apparently very different places and the broad areas
covered by my extensive travelling, I often focus on the cultural
and economic aspects in various locations, examine the relationships
between human and nature, individual and the society. By getting
very close to my subjects, people or people’s marks on the
land, I try to blur the geographic barriers, capture the madness,
hopes and struggles which we all live with. |
