Chloe Liu

One of my current interests is to consider playing as a highly communicative and transformative activity in creative life. Through different forms of interactive play using traditional media or new technology, I try to provide audience a platform where they can gain access to an inner land that has been forgotten or neglected in their memory, and hence create a potential space between reality and illusion where their creativity is most active. I employ video, animation, photography, drawing, poetry and more recently interactive performance as the media for my work. Human emotions of isolation and reunion; and the concept of identity of human and objects are often explored in my work.
