Veronica Needa Artist's Biography Based in London, Veronica Needa has wide-ranging experience as a performer and trainer, specializing in community cultural development, autobiographical performance, and Playback Theatre. She teaches internationally, travelling regularly to Asia, Europe & North America. A founding member of Yellow Earth Theatre which has pioneered British East Asian theatre in the UK, she recently retired from YET core membership and as their Outreach & Education Coordinator (1995-2005). She has worked since 1986 as storyteller, workshop leader & compere for East Asian festival & community events at the Commonwealth Institute, the V&A Museum, London Museum, schools, and for many of the Chinese Community Associations in London and nationwide. She has been cultural ambassador for the Arts Depot, the new North London Arts venue.
