Anthony Key’s solo exhibition, Dumplings and other stories, uses food and the
Chinese takeaway to explore cultural identity. He is particularly interested in the
experiences of the British-Chinese. His witty and minimalist installations have a
compelling and immediate impact, but on closer examination reveal a hard-edged
challenge to the fixed perceptions and ideas about what it means to be Chinese in
Britain today.
